Underblanket (Rubber Faced)
NOVURANIA produces one of the most comprehensive ranges of underblankets available to the Offset Blanket Converting Industry. NOVURANIA underblankets are suitable for use with either
conventional or compressible litho blankets, as a part of the dressing for letterpress and gravure cylinders or underneath flexo plates.
The underblankets are coated with a carefully chosen blend of nitrile polymers, for enhanced resistance to solvents and damping solutions. The all cotton carcass construction provides dimensional stability and the use of pre-calendered fabrics ensures minimal sinking of the underblanket on the press.
This minimal gauge loss feature of NOVURANIA underblankets has become more important in recent years with the buffing of top blankets creating expectations of exceptional gauge control.
The use of NOVURANIA underblankets will help the printer to obtain better results, and enable the converter to offer “Press Ready Blankets” (offset top blanket, disposable bar system and underblanket all together).
