What we produce
Rubber coated fabrics
- Cured and Uncured
- Spreadcoated, dipped, doubled or calendered
- Standard qualities and specific products to customers' specs
Full internal production capability including:
- Doubling, dusting and surface treating
- Buffing
- Strip cutting when customer requires strips cut to size
Over 6000 smq of warehousing allow us to stock raw materials and finished products to satisfy customer's needs.
Internal compounding allows greater flexibility, better control of know-how, and speed of reaction. Roughly half of the compounds used are compounded externally but normally not to the finished compound phase, which is completed internally for better control of technology.
Internal compounding also allows quicker access to trial compounds in order to keep improving the standard products, incorporating the latest technologies.
Over 1000 own know-how recipes are active at any given time, plus some recipes produced and or handled internally for customers, and based on their technology.
Capabilities include weighing, mixing with 2 roll mills and with internal mixers, straining and granulating, as well as preparation of semisolid dispersions.
This is typical to every rubber coater. What is not typical is the flexibility given by a very high number of different dissolvers, ranging from small size (for trials) to very big size for standard production.
This means ranging from 40 to 2400 liters, with intermediate steps.
The whole dissolving department is fully exhausted to solvent recovery systems.
6 coating and dipping lines, built with different technologies, allow the maximum flexibility and the choice of the right machine for the specific job desired.
Machines are equipped with beta ray weight scanning, with full and continuous recording of coating or dipping parameters.
Evaporated solvents are exhausted to our 2 state of the art solvent recovery systems.
A sophisticated, state of the art, 3 + 1 cylinder Y calander of 2600 mm (102") width allows great precision in terms of gauges over a wide width, as well as being optimized for low gauges.
It allows calendering, coupling and various proprietory configurations.
With optimized compounds gauges below 50 µm of gauge are possible.
Curing (Vulcanizing) department
The curing department consists of vulcanizing ovens, coupling machines, and specially designed machines to prepare the rolls for curing.
Every machine is fully controlled by a software acquiring also all parameters of each job for full quality control capabilities.
Specifically aimed at our image transfer products the buffing department consists of self developed buffing machines, which continually undergo improvements, also equipped with a full driving and controlling software.
In this department, besides using CAM equipment (such as an inspection machine with capabilities of digitalizing the exact position of each defect), we employ specially skilled and trained coworkers, since a good portion of the final inspection still relies on workers' experience, sensitivity and capability to spot and recognize problems.
